Gravitational collapse with quantum fields

Gravitational collapse into a black hole has been extensively studied with classical sources. We develop new formalism to simulate quantum fields forming hole. This utilizes well-established techniques used for by choosing convenient coherent state, and simulates the matter mechanically. Divergences are regularized cosmological constant Pauli-Villars fields. Using massless spherically symmetric scalar field as an example, we demonstrate effectiveness of reproducing some results in gravitational collapse, identifying difference due effects.

Conditions under which gravity coupled to self interacting scalar field determines singularity formation are found and discussed.
